Fantasia Film Festival 2014: INTO THE STORM Review by Ous Zaim

A hurricane of CGI eye candy, a flood of fast paced action. The actors playing brothers aged 14-17 were a hard pill to swallow with their prominent five o'clock shadows. A fun movie but tiresome with its Hollywood gush: Super good looking yet shy tech-geek loves super good looking environmentalist girl doesn't really spark the innocence of youth. It just looks like two people who are both too old for these roles. Sprinkle in dumb-ass rednecks, an overprotective father and a career driven slave-driver boss and viola, you have the full cast of STORM. Some serious scenes generated laughs from the audience because they were just that terrible.
